Nebraska Democratic Party

You're on this website and this page because you understand that Politics is more than our philosophy it is at the heart of everything we do and care about in our communities and Country. You are one of the few select individuals who understand that we have the power to create the real progressive change we all seek.  This Democratic Wiki is a collaborative tool we can use to share the best information about how we can work with the Democratic Party to get the qualified Progressives on the Ballots and have our progressive issues represented well in our state platform!

In order to be successful in achieving our Progressive Goals and winning in 2012 we need to organize an effective County Precinct Stratedgy.  If we want our voices to be heard on the issues we all care about like Fair Trade, Jobs not Cuts, Defending Medicare and Social Security, Ending the War and more then we need to be in the room.  That means becoming a Delegate, Volunteer and Committe person in your County

What Are The Websites I Should Visit?
This is the website for the Democratic State Party.
Please take some time to review it and learn about all of the great resources they offer and ways to get involved locally.  You might find links to current events in your area that you could attend.

Who should I contact at my County Party Office and What Do I Ask?
This is the web address link to the page on your State Party's website that lists the contact information for your County Chairperson.

Contact them and ask them:

  • How can I get involved in our County's Democratic Party Commitee and be of service?
  • I would love to be more involved in helping our Party succeed in the next election, what do I need to do to become a Delegate or Committee person?

What is a Precinct?
Precincts are the smallest administrative governmental units composted of a number of registered voters in a defined geographic area.  These voters all will vote in the same area using the same voting machines.  Precincts are the roots of Grass Roots Campaigning!
