1. Thou shall not Bash or Trash anyone. It's ok to discuss strategy but if you're just focused on complaining about people without offering some constructive solutions or alternatives then that's not productive.
Where we are coming from is that we don't want the site to devolve into some of the anti Obama or Anti Liberal infighting I saw go on in most of our groups for a long time. I'm all in favor of calling people out for bad behavior IF it's done constructively with an aim to do something about it like electing better Candidates to replace bad elected officials who don't serve the public interests. If it's just venting and bashing that's not productive. So 2. Before posting about how one disagrees with something someone has said please try to first ask them if you truly understand what they wrote and meant. It is my experience that we do not always understand each other at first and taking a little time to get to know someone's views lets them know that you care and helps us learn from each other.
3. It is always better to be kind than to be right. Everyone is entitled to their views and opinions and everyone has something to offer. If we look for something positive to say about someone's post we can usually find it.
4. Please if you are going to joke around and we encourage you to do so, do so in a positive way to avoid hurt feelings and misunderstandings.
5. No name calling or rude behavior towards group members or really anyone will be tollerated. This group is for adults looking to make the world a Better Place not a Bitter Place!
6. No spamming ie advertising products and services to the members of this site.
7. The admin and owner of the site reserves the right to kick anyone out of this site who they find to be too disruptive and negative.
8. You must agree to vote in the next national election.
